A "quip" is a remark or quotation that can be funny, serious, silly or sarcastic -- anything goes! Daily Quip sends a new short text message each day -- delivered to your mobile phone, WAP phone, pager, 2-way, or e-mail account -- through a free service offered by Upoc.

There is only one message per day sent from Daily Quip with no spam or advertising. Daily Quip will not (and cannot) collect personal information such as mobile phone numbers or e-mail addresses.

Daily Quip's quotations are culled from a wide variety of sources. Wherever possible, full credit is given to the author. The Archives were created as a response to member requests for past Quips and further information. Polychrome has provided background commentary and relevant links of interest. The icon next to selected Quips provides guidance to recommended books, movies, and CDs.
